Toms River Tree Lighting, Christmas Program Slated For Friday
Event will run from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Ocean County Library courtyard.
The Christmas season officially begins on Friday, with the annual tree lighting and arrival of Santa in the courtyard between the Ocean County Library and Town Hall.
The event will feature the Donovan Catholic Chorus, the Amazing V Magician, Treble Makers of Our Gang Players, Bill & Casey and “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” read by Mrs. Claus.
Santa Claus will make an appearance at 8 p.m. Cookies and hot chocolate will be available for purchase, along with photos with Santa.

The Courtyard is located between Town Hall and the Ocean County Library at 101 Washington St.
