Missing Toms River Woman Found Safe

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Toms River woman who had been missing for a week has been found safe.

Toms River police said Susan Nelson, 61, was found sometime Thursday. Friends and family had not spoken to her in a week before she was found.

Police did not say where Nelson was found, but in an update on Facebook Thursday afternoon said, "We'd like to thank everyone who assisted in any way. We are always grateful for your vigilance and continued support."
