Toms River's Top Republican Presidential Campaign Contributors

See who is contributing to Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, John Kasich and Ben Carson in Toms River.

New Jersey voters will take to the polls on Tuesday, June 7 to cast their ballots for the presidential nomination in each party. If campaign contributions are any indication of appeal, it could be a close race on the Republican side.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio leads the Republican candidates who are still in the race with $549,587 in individual donations in the state, according to publicly available contribution data from the Federal Election Commission.

The bulk of the individual contributions in New Jersey to Republican candidates -- $3,631,255 -- went to Gov. Chris Christie before he dropped out of the race; many of those were at the maximum individual contribution level of $2,700.
