Want to learn about the history of heroin abuse and how to detect if someone you love is using? Lt. Joe Pangaro presents an engaging talk about the effects of heroin on the body, how to tell if someone is using and what the legal ramifications are if you get caught using or dealing.
Pangaro is a retired police officer from Ocean Township in Monmouth County who conducts training for law enforcement, first responders and others. He has been presenting this program at the Ocean County Library for a few years now.
It is an informative program geared for teens, parents, friends and professionals.
