Toms River Plans for $30 Million in Emergency Sandy Spending
Township Council plans an emergency meeting Friday, Nov. 16, related to $30 million of Hurricane Sandy costs.

Township Council scheduled an emergency meeting at Town Hall, Friday, Nov. 16, regarding $30 million in spending and contracts associated with Hurricane Sandy, according to the Township Clerk's office.
The council will also take action at the 5 p.m. meeting, regarding the approval of purchases under contracts for FEMA-reimbursed storm debris removal, services for monitoring debris removal and the coordination and monitoring of FEMA filings and reimbursements, the clerk's office said.
