Toys For Tots Drive Being Hosted By Toms River Fire Company 1

The firehouse will have U.S. Marines accepting toy donations for children in need on two dates.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River Fire Company 1 is hosting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys For Tots for toy collection on Nov. 27 and 28 at the firehouse.

Toys For Tots collects new toys for children who are less fortunate each year. Last year, the Ocean North collection provided nearly 21,000 children with toys for Christmas.

Toms River Fire Company 1 hosted two days of drop-off collection for Toys For Tots last year, and is repeating that this year.

The Marines will be at the firehouse at 26 Robbins St., across from Toms River Town Hall, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving.
