Traffic Alert: Delays On Route 37 At Lakehurst Road In Toms River

A crash Monday night is continuing to cause problems in Toms River.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Drivers who use Route 37 in the area of Lakehurst Road may want to find another route Tuesday morning, as utility pole repairs from a crash Monday night are causing delays.

The Ocean County Sheriff's Office issued an alert shortly before 5 a.m. warning of delays at the intersection, with traffic affected in both directions at the ramp from Route 37 to Lakehurst Road.

The sheriff's office says the disruption is expected to continue into the early afternoon at least.
