Traffic Alerts: Graduations On Tap For Toms River Schools

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Drivers should be prepared for extra traffic in Toms River and its neighboring river towns on Thursday afternoon and Friday as the Toms River Regional School District holds its eighth-grade promotion ceremonies and high school graduations.

Toms River Intermediate East, Intermediate North and Intermediate South have their promotion ceremonies on Thursday. Intermediate North is set for a 3 p.m. start; Intermediate South is 3:30 p.m. and Intermediate East is at 6 p.m., according to the district's website.

On Friday, all three high school graduations are scheduled. The graduation ceremonies at Toms River High School East and High School South are set for noon, and Toms River High School North's ceremony is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

Friday is the last day of school throughout the district.
