Traffic Alerts: Route 9 In Toms River, Route 70 In Lakewood
There are traffic delays at two unrelated sites Thursday afternoon.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Ocean County Sheriff's Office has issued a pair of alerts Thursday afternoon about traffic delays in two locations.
There are delays on Route 9 in Toms River in the area of Cox Cro Road due to police activity, the sheriff's office said one alert.
There also are delays on Route 70 at the intersection with New Hampshire Avenue in Lakewood because of a crash, the sheriff's office said.

The alerts were issued shortly before 2 p.m.
