Veterans Day Parade Coming Up In Toms River
The annual parade to honor veterans in Ocean County and beyond for their military service is followed by a service at Town Hall.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The 2022 Ocean County Veterans Day Parade will be held on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11th in downtown Toms River.
The parade begins at 9:45 a.m. at the Toms River Shopping Center on Route 37 and will go south on Main Street, then east on Washington Street. The parade features numerous military vehicles, civic groups, first responders, local high school marching bands, elected officials and a showcase of vintage cars.
The parade ends at Toms River Town Hall at 33 Washington St. and is followed by a ceremony to honor the veterans, and residents are encouraged to attend.

The ceremony includes speakers and honored guests, a rifle salute, and the placing of the wreath on the town's Veterans monument.
There is no rain date. If foul weather is forecast, the student participation will be canceled at 5 p.m. on Nov. 10. Announcements will be made on 92.7 WOBM. If the parade is canceled, a ceremony will take place in Town Hall in the L. Manuel Hirshblond Meeting Room at 10 a.m.
