Voter Forum For Toms River School Board Candidates Set

The virtual forum is an opportunity to hear from the candidates seeking election to the Toms River Regional Board of Education.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Voters have an opportunity to hear from the candidates for the Toms River Regional Board of Education during a virtual candidates forum on Thursday night.

The forum is organized by the League of Women Voters of Monmouth County, and registration is required. Go to bit.ly/trrboeforum to register and receive a link to the Zoom meeting.

There are three seats open on the board this year: one in Toms River, one in Beachwood and one in Pine Beach. The candidates are Daynne Glover and Kathleen Eagan for the Toms River seat; Melissa P. Morrison, Lisa Magovern and Reuven Hendler in Beachwood and in Pine Beach, Kevin Kidney and Arley Kuehl.

Kidney and Kuehl have declined to participate in the forum, the league said.
