WATCH: Toms River Firefighters Snuff Out Car Blaze At Corporate Center

Toms River police and firefighters extinguished a car blaze Friday morning at the Bayview Corporate Center, police said.
At 11:53 a.m Police, Fire, and EMS units responded to the Bayview Corporate Center at 1433 Hooper Ave. for a car fire. Upon arrival, they observed a 2006 Mitsubishi with smoke and flames coming from the engine compartment.
Upon arrival, Silverton Volunteer Fire Company quickly extinguished the blaze. There was some minor damage done to the two adjacent vehicles as the fire increased in size

Police Officer John Mehl was able to get the keys for two other nearby vehicles and move them to safety before the flames became too dangerous to approach. The cause is still under investigation at this time.
