Water Main Leak Disrupts Traffic On Hooper Avenue: Suez Officials
The road reopened Friday evening, officials said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ -- A leaking water main was repaired Friday and detours in downtown Toms River lifted after a few hours of work, Suez water company officials said.
Jane Kunka, spokeswoman for the company, said the northbound lanes of Hooper were closed to traffic at Washington Street while crews excavated the site and repaired the leak, which the company first reported at 9:30 a.m.
Northbound traffic was restored about 7:30 p.m., she said.
