Breaking: Repairs to a fire hydrant will force lane shifts on Route 37 on Tuesday night. Motorists are urged to use caution.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Motorists driving through Toms River in the evening this week should take note of two projects that will disrupt traffic.
Tuesday, Feb. 13, there will be lane shifts in place on Route 37 west from 8 p.m.to 10 p.m. while crews from SUEZ water work to repair a fire hydrant in front of the Friendly's restaurant at 981 Route 37 West, officials said.
The work is not expected to affect water service or the operation of the restaurant, officials said. Motorists should use caution in the area as there will be workers walking around the site.
