Water Pipes Burst, Flood Toms River Town Hall
The Township Council meeting set for Wednesday has been canceled, the township said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A water pipe burst at Toms River Town Hall on Monday, causing flooding that has forced the closure of the building on Tuesday and the cancellation of Wednesday's Township Council meeting.
A notice posted on the township website said multiple pipes burst. The extent of the damage was not available Monday night.
Building inspections and code enforcement inspections that are scheduled will go on as scheduled, the township said.

Residents who were planning to pay their property taxes on Tuesday will have a one-day extension of the grace period to Wednesday, the township said.
