What's Open, Closed On Presidents Day In Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Monday, Feb. 20, is Presidents Day, the day set aside to honor the birthdays of Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

It is a federal holiday, which means all federal offices, including the Post Office, are closed.

State offices and courts are closed as well.

Locally, the Toms River Regional School District is closed.

All branches of the Ocean County Library are closed.

All Toms River municipal offices are closed.

The Public Works Department and the Recycling Convenience Center will be closed. All sanitation and recycling collections are postponed one day next week, with Friday’s collections being completed on Saturday.

Businesses may be open based on their own schedules. Call ahead to confirm.
