This Bloomingdale hotspot is known for its extensive craft beer and cocktail menu, excellent happy hour fare and live performances by local musicians. Weekend lineups are announced on the bar’s Instagram page every week, so keep an eye out for your favorite up-and-coming artists! You can also stop by during the week for Wing Wednesday (half off wings all day) and Trivia Thursday.

2. Hiking in Silas Condict County Park
When: Open daily
Where: 100 Kinnelon Rd, Kinnelon, NJ
Kinnelon’s Silas Condict County Park is the perfect local spot to spend a sunny spring afternoon. Enjoy beautiful lakeside views as you walk along the wooded trails or enjoy your lunch in the open picnic areas. Parking is available near the main park entrance.

3. 25th Annual Festival of the Arts
When: April 23 - 26, 2026
Where: St. Francis of Assisi School Building, 1 Father Hayes Dr, Haskell, NJ
Just a short drive away in Haskell, the Patron of the Arts Association is hosting its 25th Annual Festival of the Arts. This longstanding local festival is a vibrant exhibit of up-and-coming artists across mediums, including photography, painting, music, poetry and more. 4. The Celebration of the Earth 2026
When: May 3, 2026, 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Where: Passaic County Technical Institute, 45 Reinhardt Rd, Wayne, NJ
This family-friendly event offers a variety of fun, free activities for all ages, including environmental face painting, temporary tattoos, games, inflatables and live performances. Refreshments are available, and attendees can receive training on RecycleCoach, Passaic County’s free recycling app.

5. Wayne Farmers Market
When: Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, beginning in May
Where: 475 Valley Rd, Wayne NJ
The regular season of this year-round farmers' market resumes on Saturday, May 2, in the Wayne Township Municipal parking lot. Rain or shine, local farmers and vendors will be selling fresh produce, baked goods, specialty food items and other artisan items at this dog-friendly shopping event. 6. Pick-Your-Own Strawberries at Farms View
When: Mid- to late May through late June (based on crop availability). Monday through Saturday, entry between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (must be done picking by 5:30 PM)
Where: 945 Black Oak Ridge Rd, Wayne, NJ
Strawberry season is a highlight of spring, and Farms View in Wayne offers pick-your-own fields so you can enjoy these sweet berries at peak ripeness.
