KINNELON, NJ — Pickleball enthusiasts will have a chance to compete, connect, and support a worthy cause when the Fayson Lakes Association Pickleball Club host its 2nd Annual Pickle-A-Thon event later this month.

The event, on June 27, is open to players ages 16 and older and will begin at 12 p.m. at the Kinnelon Boonton Ave. Courts.

Participants can register as part of a team or sign up individually.

Organizers encouraged players to build their own dream teams of four to eight members, but those without a team were still able to register and be matched with other players, so everyone has a chance to play.

Registration to play ended on June 13.

The event serves as a fundraiser for the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad, with proceeds helping support the organization's ongoing emergency response and community services.

In addition to the pickleball games, attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including raffle prizes, surprise giveaways, and opportunities to meet fellow pickleball fans from throughout the area.

Players are reminded to bring their own chairs, water, bottles, and towels for the day’s festivities.
