BUTLER, NJ — Butler will celebrate both the nation's 250th anniversary and the borough's 125th anniversary this weekend.
The borough will host the event on June 20 at 8:30 a.m. rain or shine at Butler Park.
"Join us for a ceremony honoring the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedom," an announcement said.
The ceremony will be followed by the walking and placing of American flags along Kiel Avenue and Bartholdi Avenue.
The borough is asking residents to help them cover the area with American Flags.
