BUTLER, NJ — If you enjoy finding a bargain while supporting your local community, the Friends of the Butler Library will offer both during Butler's townwide garage sale.
The Friends of the Butler Library will hold the fundraiser at the library, located at 1 Ace Rd, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 during the building's regular operating hours. Proceeds will support the Friends' work on behalf of the Butler Public Library.
Shoppers can browse a collection that includes kitchenware, household items, holiday decorations, candles, toys, puzzles, Beanie Babies and DVDs.
The sale is not limited to Saturday's communitywide event. According to the library's announcement, its garage-sale fundraiser is "ongoing every day" during regular library hours. That gives residents who cannot attend Saturday another opportunity to shop and support the library.
