KINNELON, NJ — Residents looking to help replenish the local blood supply are invited to register to give blood at a community blood drive Thursday at the Kinnelon Public Library.
The blood drive will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Meeting Rooms 1, 2 and 3 at the library, located at 132 Kinnelon Road. Blood donors have the option to choose to donate whole blood or Power Red, which involves a process that returns blood plasma to the donor.
No registration is required, but donors who prefer to reserve a time can make an appointment through Vitalant's online scheduling page.
The event offers area residents an easy way to give blood locally to benefit the community.
