KINNELON, NJ — The back-to-school routine returns this week, with Kinnelon students scheduled to begin the new academic year.
Teachers and other staff members returned Monday, followed by a staff in-service day Tuesday. For families, that means Wednesday brings the first regular round of morning drop-offs, bus stops and school-day traffic.
Students will return to classrooms at Kiel, Stonybrook, Pearl R. Miller Middle School and Kinnelon High School, bringing backpacks, fresh supplies and plenty of first-day excitement.
Parents may want to double-check transportation arrangements, dismissal plans and each school's opening-day instructions before students head out the door. Families should also allow extra travel time around school buildings as drivers and students settle back into their routines.
Residents can review the district calendar and school announcements on the Kinnelon Public Schools website.
