KINNELON, NJ — Kinnelon's fall celebration returns this month with food, music and fireworks for America's 250th birthday.

The 2026 Kinnelon Fall Festival, known as KFEST, runs from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday, September 26, at 130 Kinnelon Road, according to organizer The Scribble Garden.

The festival will feature more than 100 vendors, food trucks, a beer garden and live music. Families can also visit a free children's zone with a petting zoo, pony rides, a pumpkin patch and train rides.

A scavenger hunt will send children among participating booths to collect tickets, which they can exchange for prizes. Organizers say their events give businesses, charities and community groups opportunities to "promote, network and raise awareness" with the public.

Most vendors will close at 6 p.m., while food sellers and select booths may remain through 9 p.m., according to the vendor contract. Dogs are not allowed, and the organizer says there is no rain date.
