KINNELON, NJ — Kinnelon Public Schools has cleared additional classrooms following air quality testing and mold remediation across the district.
In an Oct. 7 letter, Superintendent David C. Mango confirmed that Aero Environmental Services Inc. cleared several Kinnelon High School rooms following remediation and testing.
Rooms 174, 178 and 179 at Pearl R. Miller Middle School were also cleared following remediation.
Stonybrook School rooms 320 and 325 were tested as a precaution and cleared, with no mold detected.
As Patch previously reported, the district had been testing additional classrooms amid ongoing mold concerns.
"We will continue to take appropriate precautions, monitor the situation closely, and address concerns promptly as additional information becomes available," Mango wrote.
