BUTLER-KINNELON, NJ — Families in Butler and Kinnelon have several school schedule changes coming up, including early dismissals and closures next week.
According to the Butler Public Schools 2026-27 calendar, students will have an early dismissal Wednesday, Nov. 4, for a teacher in-service day.
Butler schools will then close Thursday, Nov. 5, and Friday, Nov. 6, for the NJEA Convention.
In Kinnelon, the district's approved calendar shows minimum days Monday, Nov. 2, through Wednesday, Nov. 4, for parent-teacher conferences at Kiel School, Stonybrook School and Pearl R. Miller Middle School.
Kinnelon High School students and staff will also have a minimum day Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Like Butler, Kinnelon Public Schools will be closed Thursday, Nov. 5, and Friday, Nov. 6, for the NJ Teachers Convention.
Families can review each district's calendar for upcoming school dates and additional schedule changes throughout the academic year.
