Bloomingdale Woman Remembered for Her Passion for Broadway
Long-time Broadway stage manager Beverly Randolph lost a battle to cancer Tuesday.

Beverly Randolph, a veteran Broadway production stage manager, died of cancer Tuesday at the age of 59 in her Bloomingdale home with her family and friends around her. She is survived by her husband, James Eisner, her mother, Sarah DaCosta, her sister, Carolyn Borlo, her brother-in-law, Joseph Borlo, and her niece, Sarah Randolph Borlo.
Randolph was a much respected and loved stage manager with over 30 years of work under her belt. Her credits included The Sound of Music, Little Women, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Caberet and Evita, among many others.
Most recently, she was working as stage manager on the musical The Addams Family.

Carolyn said her sister was fun and enthusiastic. "She had a passion for the theater and life. She dedicated all of her time to her family at the theater, as well as her relatives,” she said.
During the holidays, Carolyn said Randolph would always put on a show for family and friends. Even on days when she was working on a production, she would race home to perform for her loved ones, she said. Carolyn said that was just one of the ways Randolph “showed her love and generosity to her family and friends, as well as her passion for the theater.”

Randolph knew how to balance work and her family life, according to her family.
"I loved her dearly. She was fairly high strung-a consummate professional. She always treated the people in her shows like family and she was always busy," Eisner said.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held on May 23 at 2 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Pompton Lakes. A memorial for the Broadway community will also be held at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre at a later date.
The family is asking that donations be made to the Actor's Fund in the name of Randolph, 729 Seventh Avenue, 10th Floor, New York, NY, 10019.
