Just Call Me Miss Manners

So this is my first foray into blogging and I certainly hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.  When the Editor of Patch asked me what I’d like to write about, the first and only subject that came to mind is etiquette-sometimes good, old fashioned etiquette and sometimes etiquette that comes with our newer generational issues, like social networking. So anything goes when it comes to my writing.

When I told my mom that I was going to blog about etiquette, she giggled.  "What?"  I asked her what she was laughing about. She said, “With that language of yours?”  Well, yes, she had me there. So I’ll keep my language rated G. With all that language aside, I was raised by parents who knew the value of etiquette and manners. Although my children are young, I try hard to pass on everything I have learned from my parents and from my life experiences.
