Burglar Takes Off With $7K of Jewelry From Kinnelon Home, Cops Say
Suspect allegedly used rock to break back window, police report.

Kinnelon police are looking for suspects who allegedly broke into a borough home and stole some $7,000 worth of jewelry, police said.
An officer responded to a residential burglary alarm on Harvest Lane around 10:45 p.m. Saturday, May 11, police said. When patrol arrived, it was found that a rear window was broken by a rock, police said.
The officer then heard footsteps rustling in the woods toward Peach Tree Lane, and immediately gave chase but was unable to apprehend the “suspects,” police said.

Police then observed a vehicle driving on Peach Tree Lane where the suspect was headed.
An investigation revealed jewelry had been taken from the master bedroom of the home, and according to nj.com, that total worth of the stolen goods was in the area of $7,000.
