Car Crash Victim No Longer in Critical Condition

Police said family members reported female may be going home this week.

The 23-year-old victim of is no longer listed in critical condition but still in serious condition Monday according to Capt. Ciro Chimento.

Chimento said the police department received an update from family members that the female from West Milford, whose name was still not released, could be going home this week.

The woman was transported via medevac helicopter to St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson Tuesday after the Toyota Camry she was driving around 11 a.m. across Morse Avenue in was struck by a Ford F-350 driven by Robert McIntosh, 26, of Hewitt, driving on Route 23 South. Police alleged McIntosh ran the red light and with disregard of a traffic signal and careless driving.
