Driver Flown To Hospital After Kinnelon Accident
The driver was alone in the car, police said.

KINNELON, NJ — A Kinnelon driver was flown to the hospital by helicopter after being involved in a single car crash on Wednesday, Kinnelon police said.
The driver, a 78-year-old Kinnelon man, drove his Mercedes Benz off the road while driving on Kinnelon Road Wednesday afternoon, police said. He struck a wooden business sign and came to a stop as his car "was hung up on a rock," according to police.
The driver was in-and-out of consciousness and was taken by helicopter to St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson.

The driver was alone in the car, police said, and no other cars were involved. It's currently unclear why the driver left the road, but the accident remains under investigation.
