The proceeds of this year's race will be directed to help support an organization called the <a href="http://chdcoalition.org/about-us/officers-and-volunteers" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Congenital Heart Defect Coalition (CHDC)</a> that was started because of a local third grade boy who lives with only half of a heart.   Registration closes on Friday, November 8, 2011
