History of the Jersey Shore

Have you ever wondered why there is an elephant-shaped building on the beach in Margate? A concrete ship stuck in the sand off Cape May Point? Towns on the Jersey Shore named Loveladies and Ship Bottom?  Join Kevin Woyce on Thursday, May 10 at 7pm for a colorful tour of Jersey Shore history, from shipwrecks, lighthouses and the first seaside resorts to today’s most popular boardwalks.  Program is free. Funded by the Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL).  Please call the Library at 973-838-1321 to register.
