New York's The Lost Patrol as featured in the hit CW show Gossip Girl, and the the soon to be released Amy Heckerling film Vamps (starring Krysten Ritter, Alicia Silverstone, Richard Lewis and Sigourney Weaver) - returns to Architekt Music for their 2nd show, this time with friends from Detroit, The Blueflowers who make their first ever NJ appearance.
The Lost Patrol is a critically acclaimed band hailing from greater New York City. Their music is an everevolving, genre-defying wall of sound that has been likened to everything from gothic spaghetti western to experimental surf. Characterized by twangy-ethereal electric guitars, lush acoustic twelve strings, deep synth textures, and sirenic vocals, their cinematic mish-mash of sounds has clear connections to the band’s bottomless well of influences - yet the music of The Lost Patrol is a unique amalgamation unto its own.

The husband and wife song writing duo of Tony Hamera and Kate Hinote, began their creative experiment in 2004. Hamera, a veteran of the Detroit music scene as a studio engineer and musician, and Hinote, a neophyte vocalist brimming with raw talent, first appeared together in the short-lived dream pop act, Ether Aura, independently releasing two records between 2005 and 2007. However, It would not be until 2008 that the couple would find their creative centers, as well as the critical pieces which would make up The Blueflowers. After many months of writing, member changes, rehearsals, and live shows, their debut album, Watercolor Ghost Town was released in 2009 - a cinematic mélange of alt-country, gothic Americana, 1960’s psychedelia, and indie pop.
