Paralyzed Former Kinnelon Student Benefits From Jamboree
Annual event raises money for Darren Templeton. He was paralyzed after a diving accident.

The annual Jack O’Lantern Jamboree will be held at Kinnelon High School on Sunday.
The event is run by the school’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), a student club dedicated to raising money for various national and local non-profits. The club is raising money this year for Push to Walk NJ, an organization provides individualized workouts and resources to people with spinal cord injuries and who suffer from paralysis.
“My students are the best. As members of the FBLA, they have worked many hours after school to organize the pumpkin carving, bake sale, advertisements, and coordination of events on the evening of the jamboree,” said Anna Ellington, business teacher at the school at advisor to the FBLA.
