Kinnelon Library Announces New Director
The Kinnelon Library Board of Trustees has chosen Ms. Kimberly Fraone as the new Director, beginning Feb. 13th.

The Library Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Kimberly Fraone as the new Director of the Kinnelon Public Library. Kimberly comes to Kinnelon after a successful career at Kean University where she last served as Acting Library Director of the Nancy Thompson Library. She will begin at the Kinnelon library on February 13th.
“We are very excited to have attracted a person of Kimberly’s stature to Kinnelon. She should be a great fit for Kinnelon, bringing an excellent skill set of leadership, financial acumen, experience, creativity and enthusiasm to the position. We fully expect our Library to continue serving as Kinnelon’s community center and look forward to Kimberly leading our efforts,” said Dr. Anne Vosatka, President of the Kinnelon Public Library Board of Trustees.
Mayor Robert Collins, a strong supporter of the library, noted “an exhaustive search, conducted by a Search Committee consisting of members of the Board of Trustees and community leaders, attracted numerous candidates. Ms. Fraone stood out as the person we were looking for, a person qualified from her educational background, her experience and her enthusiasm for the mission of libraries.”

Ms. Fraone is a an alumna of Rutgers University, having earned a B.A. in History as well as a Masters in Library Science. Her experience includes working at the Millburn Public Library as well as Kean University. At Kean, in a series of positions of increasing responsibility, she rose from Librarian to be the Acting Library Director. She resides in nearby Boonton.
A “meet and greet” will be scheduled in the near future for community members to meet the new Director.
