GUIDELINES FOR USE OF BOONTON AVENUE FIELD BATTING CAGES

The Boonton Avenue Field Batting Cages will be open beginning Friday, May 22, 2020 at 8:00 am. This will be on a trial basis, providing all social distancing and other special rules are followed in order to limit the spread of COVID-19.

  1. Use of the batting cages is by reservation only. They will be open 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM Monday through Sunday. Please click HERE to sign up.
  2. Please do not arrive to the batting cages earlier than 5 minutes prior to your reservation to avoid crowded conditions.
  3. Any child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  4. Maintain social distancing (no closer than 6’ to other person). If this does not occur, cages will be closed. NO CONGREGATING WITH OTHER PLAYERS NEAR THE BATTING CAGES.
  5. Only two people per batting cage.
  6. Everyone must bring their own bats/helmets/baseballs. No sharing of equipment.
  7. Players must vacate cage on time after use if someone is scheduled next.
  8. You must use your own hand sanitizer before and after play. No bathrooms will be available.
  9. It is recommended to wear a face covering prior to and after using the batting cage. It is also recommended to wear a face mask while hitting if possible.
  10. If you or family member have displayed any symptoms or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please stay home.
