Kinnelon Rower Added to Roster at University of Kansas

Sarah Elstien of Kinnelon will row on the University of Kansas women’s crew team.

Team coach Rob Catloth announced Saturday that Elstien has been added to the team’s roster.

“We feel like the strength and athleticism of our spring signees will meld well with the signees we had in the fall,” Catloth told kusports.com. “We are looking for them to come in and elevate our program.”

Elstien, who has been rowing with the North Jersey Rowing program for three years, signed a letter of intent to attend the university in April, NJ.com reported. She rowed at single scull at the U.S. Rowing Youth Nationals earlier this year.
