Local Business Owner embarks on year two of offering Family Music Classes in Kinnelon

Melody and Motion, Music Together, LLC., is beginning its second year of continuing the legacy of offering Music Together classes at St. David’s Church in Kinnelon. For more than a decade, families in the area have been making musical memories with Music Together and will continue to have the opportunity to do so for years to come.

Butler resident, Ruth Mirabella, has been teaching Music Together classes for eight years in Kinnelon. Prior to becoming a teacher herself, she was a passionate Music Together mom who attended classes with her children for three years. After completing the Music Together training she began an exciting journey towards her ultimate goal of becoming a Center Director for Music Together and being able to offer age appropriate and extraordinarily fun music classes for families. Ruth earned a Conservatory Degree from the American Musical and Dramatics Academy in New York City in Musical Theater Performance. Teaching Music Together allows her to combine her love of music and theatrics with her love of children.

“As a Music Together mom, I could see how much my children were getting out of the program and I loved that I was able to share my love of music with them in an age appropriate setting. I knew about music and rhythm, but I didn’t know about shaky eggs and rhythm sticks. Music Together opened my eyes to the joy and value of early childhood music education. When my children headed off to school, I made the decision to attend training and become a licensed early childhood music educator for Music Together.”

Melody and Motion Music Together, LLC will be offering classes on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings this September at St. David’s Church on Kinnelon Road. In addition to Miss Ruth, Melody and Motion also employs Miss Ildiko, a resident of Kinnelon, who is a talented musician and dedicated early childhood music educator with many years of teaching experience.
