Pack of Coyotes Kill Family Dog: Bloomingdale Police
The family's other dog was also attacked but managed to escape.
BLOOMINGDALE, NJ — A family dog was attacked and killed by a pack of coyotes on Thursday, police said in a statement.
Three coyotes attacked two family dogs at a Union Avenue residence Thursday afternoon, police said. Both bogs were described as small; their breed was not specified. One of the dogs managed to escape, but the other was dragged into the woods behind the home.
Officers searched the woods and were unable to find the coyotes, but were able to recover the dog's remains.
