Police Cracking Down On ATVs in Bloomingdale Quarry
Police said the number of ATVs were becoming a saftey concern.
BLOOMINGDALE, NJ— Bloomingdale Police are cracking down on ATV riders at the Bloomingdale Quarry, citing saftey and trespassing concerns.
Tilcon New York Inc. has asked Bloomingdale Police to increase their patrols on the 265 acre property, which includes the Bloomingdale Quarry. Trespassers will be arrested and prosecuted, police said.
The crackdown comes amid rising saftey concerns and an increase in ATV riders on the property, police said.
