'Real Housewives' Tenant Must Pay $23K in Back Rent or Face Eviction
Judge rules in favor of Joe Gorga, but legal process will continue for breach of contract issues, report says.

The tenant currently living in a Montville mansion formerly owned by Melissa and Joe Gorga, cast members of Bravo TV’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” will need to pay $23,477 in unpaid rent or face eviction from the home.
According to nj.com, Superior Court Judge Stephen Taylor ruled Kai Patterson, the home’s tenant who signed a lease-to-own agreement in August 2013 on the $3.8 million home would need to pay $20,000 for September’s rent, as well as late fees for four months’ rent.
The tenant plans to stave off eviction, the report said, and pay the judgment amount in full by the end of Thursday.

Gorga said the legal process is far from over and will now go after Patterson for breach of contract on the lease-to-own agreement, the report said. Gorga called Patterson a “squatter” and a “deadbeat” in the report.
Gorga first filed suit against Patterson in June after not receiving any payments for three months. Both sides have been in court repeatedly over the past 10 weeks to resolve the ongoing issue.
