Small Fuel Leak In Butler Daycare Parking Lot

The leak was cleaned up by the fire department Thursday morning.

BUTLER, NJ — A small diesel fuel spill was cleaned up in the parking lot of a Butler daycare Thursday morning, Chief Ciro Chimento told Patch.

Around 8:30 a.m., officers were called to KiDoodle Day Care for a report of a small fuel leak in the parking lot. The fuel appeared to have come from a car that was already parked in the lot, Chimento said.

The Butler Fire Department came and cleaned up the spill, which was less than two ounces. Given the small amount of fuel, there were no evacuations, injuries, or road closures.
