Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Steve Lonegan met with members of the Butler Republican Club at their annual barbecue Sunday.
Lonegan is running against Democrat Corey Booker, the mayor of Newark, in a special election for the Senate seat that was vacated when longtime Sen. Frank Lautenberg died earlier this year.
