The former Pathmark was one of 25 supermarkets in the New York City area that were converted to Stop & Shop stores following the bankruptcy filing by Pathmark’s parent company A&P.
The new Stop & Shop will include Produce, Bakery, Meat & Seafood Departments an extensive assortment of natural and organic products, including over 1,400 Nature’s Promise products as well as gluten-free and special diet selections. The store will feature a refreshed modern décor, updated refrigeration systems, new lighting, state-of-the-art technology, and other improvements.

The Stop & Shop Card will offer customers automatic access to thousands of savings every time they shop plus Gas Extra Rewards. Peapod, the country’s leading Internet grocer, will also be available to service customers.
