Three Charged With Prostitution After Undercover Investigation

Police said women allegedly offered sexual acts in exchange for money.

Three women were arrested and charged with prostitution Thursday after said the women were allegedly engaging in prostitution activity out of the YS Spa, located at 1212 Route 23.

Young Herrin, 47, of Cliffside Park, Myung Cha, 58, of Ramsey, and Jinyn Zhen, 43, of Butler, were charged with prostitution and resisting arrest after police said they allegedly attempted to flee on foot from police.

Police conducted a two-month into the spa, according to a press release sent by the Butler Police Department, and allegedly received information from a number of sources. The Butler Police Special Enforcement Unit conducted further, undercover investigation through a task force lead by Det. Colleen Pascale. As a result, the women were arrested and charged.

Cha and Herrin were released in their own recognizance while Zhen was transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility for verification of her identity. Her bail was set at $2,000 with no 10 percent option.
