TV Host to Kick Off Catholic Schools Week

Speaker to greet prospective students.

On Jan. 29, immediately following the 9:30 a.m. Mass at , Debbie DuHaime, WABC traffic reporter and Cablevision television host,  will officially launch Catholic Schools Week (Jan. 29 – Feb. 3) at . She will speak to the audience about the value of a Catholic education and its impact on her, and her son’s, life.  

DuHaime and her son are both graduates of the school. DuHaime will also meet prospective new students and parents in the Parish Center immediately following Mass at the school’s open house, starting at 10:30 a.m.

DuHaime is very excited about speaking about the value of the Catholic education she and her son received at St. Anthony’s. The successful radio and television reporter says that, “St. Anthony’s taught her that working hard pays off, that God is ever present in her life and that service to the community lasts a lifetime.”

DuHaime’s busy career does not detract from her service to others. She serves on the boards of the Bloomingdale Municipal Drug Alliance and the NJ State Organization of Cystic Fibrosis. She currently volunteers at Good Council Homes in Spring Valley, helping unwed mothers rebuild their lives, and previously spent many years volunteering at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson.
