Self-care is the cornerstone of every relationship you have. Especially the one with yourself. Today, women are pulled in many directions at once (work, family, home, spouse etc…). It can feel like there is never enough time to get everything done that needs to be done or that you want to get done. Usually, your mental and physical health is put on the back burner, always yielding to something more pressing and urgent. You put yourself last. With so many needing time and energy, you tend to be left fatigued, anxious and just plain tired. Often, you make yourself promises that today is the day you learn to say no to a request or demand, take time for you, take care of yourself and truly, for once, put yourself first. These best of intentions may stick for a bit, but, ultimately, we return to our care giving ways and tend to put ourselves last again.

In this Womens Empowerment Program, Alicia Jennings will work with you in a small, safe and private setting to discuss many of the issues we all share. To create a place where you can discuss your challenges and your needs, to get the support and care you need for you. Together, your group of strong, powerful, intelligent and wonderful women will create solutions within the parameters of your lives to find the time and energy to take care of your most important asset – YOU!

- How does our Personal Self-View and the expectations we place on ourselves (as well as the ones placed on us) limit our self-worth or keep us unhappy?
- Finding motivation to change by setting realistic goals that are manageable, that matter to us and are not dictated by anyone but ourselves.
- Dealing with issues from our past, releasing anger and learning to cope with stress.
- Strategies for self-care including methods to slow down in stressful situations, learning to choose, rather than react and mindfulness techniques to quell stress.
- Identification of triggers that cost us peace, focus and production. Ways of staying focused on the “big picture” to not get lost in the day.
- Open discussions to simply create a clearing for us to think, choose and move forward.
