Schor will serve on the Township Council through the certification of the Nov. 2, 2026 General Election, when Verona voters will elect a successor to complete the remainder of Holland’s term, which expires in January 2030.

A Verona resident since 2018, Schor has been actively involved in the community through volunteer service and most recently served as chair of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee.

In that role, he worked with committee members, Township administration, and elected officials on a range of initiatives, including recreation programming, facility improvements, community outreach efforts, and long-term planning for the Verona Community Pool.

Schor said his commitment to public service, combined with his professional experience in operations, budgeting, financial analysis, marketing, and business development, will help him effectively serve Verona residents.

Township officials praised Schor’s leadership and dedication to the community, highlighting his contributions to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee and his efforts to enhance recreational programs and community assets throughout Verona.
