Verona Seeks Candidates For Township Council Seat

VERONA, NJ — The Township of Verona is accepting candidate petitions for one Township Council seat that will be on the ballot in the Nov. 3 election.

The four-year term will expire on Jan. 15, 2030. Candidate petition packets are available from the Municipal Clerk's Office on the second floor of Town Hall, 600 Bloomfield Ave.

Completed petitions must be submitted to the Municipal Clerk's Office by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20. Candidates must be active registered voters in Verona and have been registered in the township for at least one year.
