CEDAR GROVE, NJ — The Cedar Grove and Verona police departments will host a Police Night Out community event on Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Panther Park, 118 W. Bradford Ave.
The free event is designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the community through an evening of family-friendly activities and interactive demonstrations.
Highlights will include a live fire department vehicle extrication demonstration, a police helicopter landing, a dunk tank, and a community kickball game.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet local police officers, explore police vehicles, enjoy music, and take part in giveaways and other activities.
